BeeCoolTM bee suits is ‘certified organic’, the supply chain is Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified. Organic cotton is grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides, or synthetic fertilizers. Organic cotton is also guaranteed free from genetic manipulation. The cotton has been grown on small, integrated family farms. And because of lower input costs and a better price for certified organic cotton, the growers are better able to provide for themselves and their families, send their children to school, maybe even put some money aside for the future.
Certified organic cotton is the best choice for the soil, for the planet, for your comfort – and for the bees.
[1] Ethylene-Vinyl acetate (EVA) is reputed to be more environmentally damaging than even PVC – which, when incinerated, produces the ‘Seveso-Toxin’ Dioxin (see e.g. https://tinyurl.com/y4cemjt5)
